After some less than ideal performances, some moderate changes are coming to Evil Geniuses.
Evil Geniuses has suffered some performance hits heading into the spring split of the LCS. Even last split's performance for them has been dismal when compared to their accomplishments such as 3rd at World Finals and nearly ripping away the OGN championships from Frost last summer 3-0.
?The permanent change surfacing for the team is ex-Fnatic support player nRated joining as the team's analyst as well as a sub. nRated is a friend to the team and is seen to have high potential.
He will play several roles, but primarily he will be the Analyst of the team, filling a hole which already in the short time he has been with us has made a considerable impact in decision making and highlighted things which we were previously ignorant of.
Secondly, Snoopeh himself is stepping down to see how it effects the team's performance. While Snoopeh was a king at his role in Season 2, he has not adapted as well as other junglers in consistently playing well for his jungle position.
...with our first game being against Fnatic on Thursday. We will have Mojtaba “Shacker” Aflaton, previously of team Animate eSport substituting in place of me in order to see how he performs at an offline event. We will have Shacker and nRated taking the role of substitutes and instead of having substitutes because it's a requirement, we want to have them to actually utilize them actively.
