?FNC vs ATN
(click for drafts)
With their new lineup, the members of Fnatic are on a roll this weekend, raking in two wins and a massive confidence boost. Alternate, on the other hand, has had mediocre performances for their last two games, which might be caused by ForellenLord being unavailable. In any case, these two teams want to end their Sunday with a victory in their hands. Both teams chose splitpushing comps, with FNC focusing on fast tower sieges, and ATN on strong pick offs and forced skirmishes.
Everything went disastrous for Alternate when Araneae stole red buff from Cyanide early on and got caught out, giving Puszu's Caitlyn double buffs. The 1-2-1 laning setup of Fnatic allowed their duo lane to immediately push up the lane and take down the tower. After that it is just the matter of Puszu and YellOwStaR going to top and bottom lane and using the huge momentum they had to destroy all outer turrets so early in the game.
A splitpush comp's worst nightmare is a lack of map control and vision, and the members of Alternate were experiencing just that. They were pulled in all directions by Fnatic, making them lose more towers. Fnatic's twin ninja combo of Kennen and Zed also forced their opponents to split up, not allowing any major teamfights until they were simply strong enough to take them on. The Spring Champions systematically dismantled the number one team's base and secured an impressive 3-0.

SK vs. MYM

Coming out of their heartbreaking losses, both SK Gaming and Meet Your Makers are desperate for a win this week. With Nautilus banned and Shen taken away by Kevin, Mokatte went old-school and chose Skarner as his jungler for this match. As if to complement the nostalgia factor, hyrqBot also picked someone who has very popular during Season 2: Rengar.
An immediate first blood onto Kubon from an invade set the tone for SK Gaming's strong early game, as most of them won their lane, or got even at the least. But since both teams had really strong AoE abilities, big teamfights were bound to happen. This is where SK basically lost their lead when misplaced Orianna ults from ocelote cost them a few deaths which evened up the game.
Around the mid to late game however, the problems with the Skarner pick from MYM became clearly noticeable, as SK had enough peel to prevent the Crystal Vanguard to ult the preferred targets. Candypanda's strong mechanics were also showcased, as his Vayne tumbled around the battlefield getting kills, while his allies created powerful initiations with the Rengaer/Shen/Orianna invisible combo. Soon, MYM was helpless against the raw power of the balls and bolts, and SK grabbed that victory they sorely needed.
NiP vs EG

The final game of the weekend was between Ninjas in Pyjamas and Evil Geniuses, both with a 1-1 and yearning for a positive end result. Still trying to adapt to the current meta, EG chose a strong tower pushing comp with a roaming elements from Froggen's Ahri, while NiP created an aggressive, pick-heavy team with Kassadin jumping around from lane to lane to collect kills.
Things looked good for EG, until a miscalculation from Snoopeh's Nasus caused him to lose his double buffs to extinkt. From this point, it became an exciting cat and mouse game, as the assassins from both teams tried to outwit each other, constantly moving around the map and making plays. However, NiP kept winning these trades. They were winning small advantages at first, but slowly they snowballed into bigger gold leads. Soon Bjergsen's team could easily take out Froggen's, and eventually NiP closed out the game and got themselves the 2-1.
