To kick off this "superday" of eight straight games during America's Independence Day, Vulcun Techbargains faces off against Curse Gaming. Vulcun went for their tried-and-tested late game comp with Zuna's Tristana and mandatorycloud's Orianna, while Curse picked a strong early-mid game assassination comp with Nyjacky's Twisted Fate and Saintvicious' Nautilus.
The game started off in an explosive manner, clashing near Curse's red buff even before minions have spawned, with Curse ahead by getting first blood and a three for two trade. After that, the pace of the game seemed to fluctuate, with a few minutes of passive farming followed by intense teamfights. Though Curse had a great start, Vulcun managed to stay even, which they preferred since their champions scaled much better during late game. Add to that two tricky Baron baits by Zuna and the gang, and they soon became too strong for Saintvicious and his crew to handle.

The second game is Team SoloMid versus Velocity eSports, also dubbed as the Battle of the Wyllie Clan. TSM chose a heavy AD squad with Reginald's Zed, TheOddOne's Nasus and Dyrus' Jayce leading the charge, while VES picked a heavy AP comp with Vileroze's Ryze, Nk Inc's Evelynn, and Cris' Elise.
Right from the get-go, Velocity looked to be in the driver's seat, stealing the first buff and winning most engagements early in the game. This continued throughout the rest of the game, with Nk Inc doing a great job by being a surprise factor. However, TSM managed to maintain only a small gold deficit solely due to Reginald farming like mad; he, at one point, had a 100 cs lead over Cris. By late game, the Spring Champions' experience comes to light, keeping up with the item builds and stalling the game. Around the 41 minute mark, VES' domination ends up in heartbreak, as one wrong teamfight caught them out of position, resulting in a perfect ace for TSM and immediately ending the game.
