After his impressive two-week trial period, Darker becomes the new official support for the Russian squad.
In an announcement on their Facebook page, Gambit Gaming has announced that Andrey "Darker" Plechistov will continue playing under the Gambit Gaming banner as their support, replacing Edward "Edward" Abgaryan, who left Gambit and now plays for Curse. He has shown to be very skilled with his Zyra play, and his teamfighting capabilities mesh very well with Gambit's, who are consisdered one of the best in this area. Though of a more passive vein than his predecessor, he has worked well with his partner-in-lane, AD Carry Evgeny "Genja" Andryushin.
Statements from Darker and the team's manager, Konstantin "groove" Pikiner:
"Hi! First of all, I would like to thank my teammates and Gambit's management for putting trust in me. I realize that there are a lot of things for me to learn, but it shouldn't be a problem, considering the level of competition this team is involved in. I will do my best in order for us to achieve higher results on the international scene. I would like to express gratitude towards my family, girlfriend and friends for accepting my decision and helping me out in my new endeavour. I hope, we will be able to please our fans with our results."
