With the LCS Summer Split ongoing, amateur teams are given a shot at a chance to go pro for the 2014 Spring Split.
In an article at their official site, Riot Games has announced its first set of qualifiers for the 2014 LCS NA & EU Spring Promotion Tournament. The competitors for said qualifiers will be based on the Ranked 5v5 Team ladder in both the NA & EU servers. The top 16 team from each region will battle it out in an online tournament, where four from NA and EU will be sent to PAX and Gamescom respectively, and compete for that slot in the Spring Promotion Tournament.
