In possibly the most anticipated match of the super-week with the unsuspecting and undefeated underdogs facing off against each other, no time was wasted in things kicking off quickly. A level 1 flash hook before minions spawned commenced by Jree would start the game off with excitement straight away.
A second kill would be racked up for Team ALTERNATE, but MeetYourMakers would show superior objective control by grabbing the first turret of the game. However, Team Alternate would not show the "solo queue superstars" representation they showed off in the past and would coordinate to bring heavily favorable situations into their hands.
With wonderfully executed engages, MeetYourMakers would find themselves easily ran over by the sheer coordination and teamfight potential rooting from Team ALTERNATE's line-up and playstyle which would ultimately be their demise and allow ATN to join Cloud 9 in the 5-0 club.
The final game of the 6 day long super-week spanning across both EU and NA regions is the very classic matchup of SK Gaming and Evil Geniuses. These two teams were nearly one in the same and have branched off; therefore, they have quite the heavy history between the two. The pressure was on as SK Gaming would be 0-5 if they did not win this game.
Early on in the game, Ocelote fell 30 CS behind the mid lane from Froggen, an extremely potent Lux player as showcased in the game. Yellowpete, however, was not having as much luck as CandyPanda. CandyPanda, utilizing the slippery nature of Ezreal, was able to bait several plays out with barrier, Arcane Shift, and Stand United with the assistance of Kev1n to find favorable outcomes all across the map.
The movement of SK Gaming was unparalleled and sooner or later, they ended up dancing circles around Evil Geniuses. With the baron and inhibitor rushed by SK Gaming, Evil Geniuses was hard-pressed to find any way to come back into the game, but had extreme difficulties due to being at a 10+ kill deficit.
