Dignitas' LoL squad proves to have some journalistic merit as their second blog comes out in the last few weeks at the hands of "Scarra" speaking out about his experiences at All-Stars.
On his trip back home, Scarra took the opportunity to write several thoughts down, reflecting on his all-star experience in Shanghai. "I did not play my best this weekend. That's the first thing that comes to mind in immediate hindsight regarding the all-star event," quotes William Li. He then goes on to talk about the pick/bans and how it might have hurt the team that they were both not comfortable with the picks and that he also did not have the broad array of champions that the team was looking for at the time.
"I think this is unacceptable, but it's something we had to deal with because of how I structured my own personal practice for playoffs and relegation matches. We had specific champions we practiced for one specific bo3 or bo5 and the other champions I tried to pick up at the time didn’t end up working out for the team. Due to this and the fact that I didn’t catch on to just how incredibly strong Kha’zix or Jayce was in the current game forced me to play catchup."
Despite all of this, the team had quite a huge amount of success in comparison with the communinty's expectations, but still a lot could have been changed and Scarra goes quite in-depth of every match they had in their stay in China, describing what went wrong and could have gone better in each of the games. Despite feeling he didn't do well in many of the games, one thing to take note of is he felt very confident in his Karthus play, even being the key deciding factor of Doublelift's famous Pentakill against the EU allstars.
