LPL Week 2 Statistical Breakdown

KDA & Farm Awards

Just as bottom lane is usually the focal point of Chinese LoL, they also happen to take the full brunt of the spotlight this last week.  San now rips the reward he was sharing with SuperCat into his own hands and steps it up big time bot lane for OMG by having the highest kill count.  San also has the highest CS count average not just for a marksman, but for all roles.

Meanwhile, Allen (formerly LoveLin) has the most assists out of anyone.  Allen's kill participation shows his phenomenal ability to switch from support to jungle and back to support again.  Unfortunately, in our feeder category lies Pyl, the support for LGD who doesn't quite calculate his trades and engages effectively, making him the highest death count in the LPL.

From his exceptional Rengar play last week to his success on more conventional picks this week, Caomei has shown himself a flexible foe to be reckoned with.  But Caomei isn't the only one in the spotlight -- in fact the entire team of World Elite is a team of all-stars, apparently -- granted they haven't been playing the strongest teams consistently yet.

Ruo has done an awesome job in the jungle, and Weixiao seems to be performing well despite the lost of Fzzf, accompanied by his new support Conan.  Most impressive of all is sukiM, who also has the most MVP points in the entire league.  World Elite couldn't have asked for a better person to fill the shoes of Misaya, if you ask me.

Team KDA

If anything is clear from this graph, it's how much World Elite is dominating, looking to once again be the kings of China with a KDA of 10.65.  However, the other team everyone has their eyes out for is Edward Gaming, who comes second in KDA. On a more tragic note, former powerhouses Positive Energy and Invictus Gaming have abysmal KDA's that don't reach 2.

Most Contested

China are the Shyvana hipsters of the world and it shows with their experience.  Shyvana is by far the highest win-rate in the league at the moment with Gragas, Thresh, Ziggs, Elise, and Lucian following slightly behind.  Speaking of Lucian, LPL players like him a whole helluva lot, as it turns out.

Thresh, Shyvana, Elise, and Kassadin lag behind the others a bit in terms of popular picking, but not in terms of being contested.  Kassadin remains by far the most banned (surprise!) with the aforementioned being seen as a particularly large threat for both sides.
