SEA HoN Tour Playoffs schedule revealed with 12 teams

The original plan of the SEA HoN Tour playoffs only included the best eight teams, but this number has been bumped up now to 12. This gives iMpunity.Storm, Few Nhor, Fanatic Five and DC Fabulous a chance to shine, while it also grants the top four some deserved byes and resting time before entering the mix.

The original number included just the eight best teams from the SEA HoN Tour rankings, but now the best 12 will get another chance to shine and prove themselves. The number eight is still critically important, as only eight teams will have to endure the stress of being eliminated straight away in the first round. The other four teams, the best four teams throughout the season, will receive a bonus for their good performance and get byes for the first two and three rounds respectively. Turtle Master and Made in Thailand.Sorry Sorry will get off-days until the third round of the competitive, automatically granting them a top six finish, while Orange eSports and Neolution eSports.MRR can sit back and relax even longer, as they are already locked into the Final Four .

The rest of the bunch has three rounds to survive until they see the light of the Final Four. The initial set of matches will see the fifth placed finisher go up against the twelfth placed finisher and so forth. This sets up interesting matches like Air Quality against iMpunity.Storm, bRix against DC Fabulous or the SEA clash between Anti Moon Queen and Fanatic Five. The story of Fanatic Five might be the most compelling in these playoffs, as the squad never had the chance to prove themselves in the G-League. The indonesians got into the D1 playoffs three times, but always lost very close to the finish. Now they get tossed into the light and have to go against one of the more easier tasks potentially, seeing as Anti Moon Queen struggled heavily in the last couple of days.

For the international warriors NoVa, NoX, VNsensation and Emperor the task at hand is by no means easy since Air Quality has been coming together really nicely ever since they got into G-League. They finished top six twice and just defeated iMpunity.Storm on the last day of the regular season with 2-0. That elevated them to close out the last cycle on the fifth place and dropped iMpunity.Storm down to finishing yet another cycle just around 20 points. Now they meet and the circumstances for iMpunity.Storm are not ideal to say the very least. Emperor has already acknowledged the fact, that he will not stay in Thailand for longer and is traveling back December, 12th for good. If iMpunity.Storm manages to win against Air Quality initially they will be shorthanded on the next day, as the second round is scheduled on the day of Emp's departure.

Whatever happens in Round One, iMpunity.Storm might not be able to make it with their full strength to the second match. Whether they make it out of the first round or not will be shown by the EpicGamingTelevision crew on their channel or can be seen on the official Youtube channel of the Thai casting crew around Winzy.
