Sky TV and OnGameNet tv-channels announces live streamed coverage of the WCG Grand Finals.

Sky TV, the global news channel, and OnGameNet, Korea's main StarCraft television channel, today announced coverage for WCG. Chairman Hyoung-seok Kim of WCG said in a press release:
- This year will be the momentum of the gaming competition by trying the real-time satellite broadcasting of the tournament as well as strengthening the Internet broadcasting in English, Italian, Chinese, and Korean.

OnGameNet will be broadcasting up to six hours per day from the event and we take it for granted that most of this time will be focused on StarCraft and secondly WarCraft.

StarCraft first out

First out of the matches in the Grand Final is WCG's own oldest and true love; StarCraft Brood War. Bulgaria LaMeR will face South Korea iloveoov on the "paddock stage" (game scene) on Thursday, 19th.

Online streams - but BWTV won't be ready

GosuGamers have spoken to Ashur, developer of Brood War Television, who confirmed that BWTV won't be ready before WCG Grand Finals. BWTV has been developed since it's announcement two years ago, yet a final date for release has not been announced.

Nevertheless, as an addition to the TV-channels, online broadcasting via the World Cyber Games website (WCG-TV) will be available from the event. Additionally, GGL.com, Radio iTG and Chinese NeoTV.com will be streaming some of the best games of WCG 2006 - all accessible for you via links in our GosuBets.
