13 Danish players battled it out for eight spots in GGNL this particularily red and white Sunday evening. The tournament took about 4 hours until a winner was determined, and just minutes ago it was clear that the winner was - ciz!
THE
DANISH COMMUNITY ISN'T THAT BIG, but the players in it are hardcore players and seem to be very tight. At least that's what the general opinion in this tournament was. You don't hear very much of the Danish community, but today the schedule was fully booked for the Danish players. At the same time as the GGNL qualifier, BroodWar.dk was hosting an invite tournament for their newly found National Team. However, after a discussion BroodWar.dk decided to postpone their tournament in order to get the best players representing Denmark in GGNL.EVEN THOUGH THE INVITE TOURNAMENT WAS POSTPONED, not all the expected Danish players arrived - neither
iR.Nazarene, aP(Pythonas, aP(Dahli nor DeacoM participated. Rumors were going on that the Top 2 players 
ciz and/or 
Fr3ddy could be one of those. Nevertheless, the truth will come out sooner or later.AFTER A FINAL BETWEEN CIZ AND FR3DDY, CIZ STOOD AS the victor, after beating Fr3ddy with 2-0 in the finals, coming from the Winner Bracket. "This was very needed for us" the winner ciz said and by us he means the Danish community. As a matter of fact, we were very insecure whether to add Denmark or not, because we felt we didn't know enough about their community, apart from it being rather small. However, it seems like we made the right choice.
