Australia's most famous player Andrew "mOOnGLaDe" Pender is the first winner of the SEA cycle of GGA Cup qualifiers, finishing without dropping a single map.
Although players from Singapore, Thailand and New Zealand made it to the top 8, the semi finals were strictly an all-Australian affair. In those, Moonglade faced Team Immunity's zerg Mafia. As one of the most accomplished players in the SEA region with his numerous first place in online cup and his bronze at the 2011 SEA Battle.net Invitational, Mafia was Moonglade's biggest challenge in this GGA Cup but even he could not take a map out of the so called "SEA King".
Moonglade's final opponent was Carnage's Ninja, who fell 0-3 to let Moonglade advance to the GGA Cup grand final.
