Many call it the most important moment in poker history. The every-man Chris Moneymaker defeating the seasoned high stakes poker professional Sam Farha to win the 2003 World Series of Poker while the public watched every hole card displayed for the first time. That classic match-up and others will play out again this summer during the World Series of Poker on June 2nd. The World Series of Poker announced they will be staging three one-of-a-kind famous WSOP heads-up rematches on June 2nd that will be featured on ESPN on July 26th.
The first match will feature 2003 WSOP Champion Chris Moneymaker against Sammy Farha in a best 2 of 3 match.
The third featured match will be up to a fan vote to select from one of the following four matches on the WSOP's Facebook page:
• 1988 WSOP: Johnny Chan versus Eric Seidel
• 2004 WSOP: Greg Raymer versus David Williams
• 2006 WSOP: Jamie Gold versus Paul Wasicka
• 2010 WSOP: Jonathan Duhamel versus John Racener
All the matches will be open to the public at the Rio in Las Vegas.
