Nier: Automata’s composer will create the theme for Thor (Jane Foster).
Publisher PlayStation Studios and developer Arc System Works have officially announced Marvel Tokon: Fighting Souls’ full slate of Year One DLC characters. Thor (Jane Foster), Venom, and Jubilee will join Phoenix Cyclops in the game’s Year One Characters & Stage Pass, along with a new Klyntar Stage.
Thor (Jane Foster) was showcased in the new trailer, along with the announcement that her theme will be created by a guest composer: none other than Nier: Automata’s Keiichi Okabe.
Who are Marvel Tokon: Fighting Souls’ Year One DLC characters?
At EVO France 2026, Marvel Tokon: Fighting Souls’ officially anointed its first-ever EVO champion: Zando. Developer Arc System Works wasn’t content to celebrate the event without a blockbuster new announcement, however. Following the conclusion of the grand finals, the studio also debuted a new trailer to announce the rest of the game’s Year One DLC, following up on the previously-announced addition of Cyclops as a playable character.

Here’s the full slate of Marvel Tokon: Fighting Souls’ Year One Character & Stage Pass, along with release windows for the upcoming DLC:
- Phoenix Cyclops: 2 November, 2026
- Venom & Klyntar Stage: Spring 2027
- Jubilee: Summer 2027
- Thor (Jane Foster): Winter 2027
Although the trailer focused on Thor–which, interestingly, follows the 2014 Thor comic book run by Jason Aaron and artist Russell Dauterman, wherein Jane Foster takes the titular mantle and wields Mjolnir–it should be noted that she is, in fact, the final character released in this Year One roadmap.
Phoenix Cyclops will be released first on 2 November, 2026. He will be followed by both Venom and an all-new Klyntar map in Spring 2027, after which Jubilee will be released in Summer 2027. Thor (Jane Foster) will follow last, in Winter 2027. Thor will also feature a theme by guest composer Keiichi Okabe, who is perhaps best known for composing music for the Nier franchise.
