Who is Twinkle Girl in Mega Man: Dual Override?

It’s been a while since Capcom announced Mega Man: Dual Override at The Game Awards 2025, but we finally have more news on the title. During this week’s Gamescom Opening Night Live, Capcom finally showed off its first gameplay reveal for the upcoming sequel, showcasing more platforming adventures for not just Mega Man, but Proto Man and Twinkle Girl.

The latter character, Twinkle Girl, appears to be a new addition to the Mega Man franchise, sporting a unique design and appearing as an in-game boss. The new gameplay also shows off an Override system, which allows players to unleash a lot more power for a limited time. Characters will also be able to equip Custom Chips to modify their abilities.

Here’s Capcom’s description of the game:

Mega Man is overriding his limits and powering up for a new adventure, but this time, he's not alone! Proto Man joins the Blue Bomber as they take on new dangers in the latest addition to the Mega Man series. Robots are running rampant at the Robot exhibition in Dr. Light's absence, and it's up to Mega Man and Proto Man to rise to the challenge to restore peace to the city. Override your limits and uncover the truth behind the incident! Get equipped with new Custom Chips to freely modify and enhance your abilities, and unleash overwhelming power for a limited time with the new Override system! Use these abilities to take on formidable foes across expansive stages including the newly revealed Robot Master, Twinkle Girl!

Capcom also revealed two new outfits coming to Pragmata, themed after the Mega Man franchise; Hugh is suiting up as Mega Man, while Diana suits up as Proto Man. The collaboration costumes will arrive later this year.

Mega Man: Dual Override will launch sometime in 2027.
