Roblox 99 Nights in the Forest launches Alien's Revenge event with a new class, quest, and more

Alien's Revenge marks the game's first major event in several months.

A brand-new event has finally arrived in Roblox's hit survival game, 99 Nights in the Forest, bringing an alien invasion and a wealth of new extraterrestrial-themed content. Titled Alien's Revenge, the update saw more than one million concurrent players flock to the game to experience its first event in months, following a lengthy pause in new updates.

Two weeks ago, 99 Nights marked the return of the game's regular update cycle by introducing several new structures and quality-of-life improvements. But this latest update delivers a much larger content addition, tasking players with defending Earth from an invasion while introducing alien-themed items, a brand-new Alien Scientist class, and a special Alien Wolf Skin.

How to play the Alien Event in 99 Nights in the Forest

The Alien's Revenge event tasks you to power up a UFO to invade the alien mothership - Roblox's 99 Nights in the Forest

In the Alien's Revenge event, the objective is to power up a giant UFO behind the campfire and board the alien mothership to defeat the aliens and earn exclusive rewards.

Aliens begin invading on the third night, spawning unique structures throughout the forest. At that time, a giant UFO will spawn behind your campfire, which requires five batteries to activate. One battery would’ve already been installed, meaning you'll need to locate the remaining four.

The batteries can be found at alien structures scattered across the forest, all of which can be seen on the map if you use the provided scanner. Although each structure features a different challenge, they all reward the same two items: a UFO Battery and an Alien Chest.

Some locations allow you to collect the battery immediately, while others require you to complete a task first. For example, the alien crop circle asks you to deliver three dead alien bodies before rewarding you with the battery and chest, while the acid pool requires you to fish the battery out using a fishing rod.

Once you've installed all four batteries, the UFO becomes operational and will transport you to the alien mothership. Defeat the aliens guarding the facility, then unlock doors and explore its rooms to claim rewards. Rewards can include previously released alien-themed equipment such as the Cyborg Armour and newly added alien technology.

When you've finished exploring, simply enter the green portal at the end of the challenge, or return to the green beam to head back to your camp and continue surviving the forest.

What is the Alien Scientist Class in 99 Nights in the Forest?

Alien Scientist is a new five-star class added in 99 Nights in the Forest

The Alien's Revenge update introduced a brand-new five-star class, the Alien Scientist, available for 600 Diamonds.

The class begins with three exclusive weapons: the Alien Shotgun, Dissolve Ray, and Raygun, alongside a bonus of +4 Sack Space. The Dissolve Ray allows you to instantly dissolve enemies below 10% health, converting them into Essence. As you collect more Essence, your alien energy regenerates faster. This is extremely useful for both the Alien Shotgun and Raygun, which rely on charging when it overheats.

Upgrading the class to Level 2 increases the Dissolve Ray's execution threshold to 15% health and adds a chance for dissolved enemies to drop the alien food item “Meat? Sandwiches”. At Level 3, collected Essence also grants a sprint speed bonus.

How to get the Alien Wolf Skin in 99 Nights in the Forest

Players can unlock the special Alien Wolf Skin by completing four event-related achievements during Alien's Revenge, which are:

  • Repair the alien spaceship by finding the four batteries
  • Defeat the alien mothership
  • Enter all the side rooms in the command ship in one run

Most of these achievements can be completed naturally while progressing through the event. Once unlocked, the neon-green wolf skin can be claimed in the game's lobby and equipped via the Supply Crate button.
