Diablo IV players can soon claim Kiriko’s Fox Spirit companion for free, along with more exclusive Overwatch cosmetics next week.
Diablo IV is preparing to launch Season 14, dubbed Season of Death Awakening, which includes a new collaboration with fellow Blizzard title Overwatch. The crossover will introduce several free and limited-edition Overwatch-themed cosmetics, arriving alongside the new season on 30 June.
This marks the second crossover between Overwatch and Diablo IV, as Blizzard continues to bring its franchises together. In 2023, Overwatch received a collection of Diablo-themed content to celebrate Diablo IV’s launch, including a Lilith skin for Moira and an Inarius skin for Pharah.
What is featured in the Diablo IV x Overwatch collaboration?
As revealed on Blizzard's site today, Diablo IV will introduce a free Overwatch Reliquary, a progression system that functions similarly to a battle pass. Players can earn Eye of the Overwatch currency by defeating Elite and Champion monsters, after which they can spend it to progress through the Overwatch Reliquary.
Available rewards include two Emblems, a Mount Trophy, three weapon skin cosmetics, and an Overwatch-themed dye. Players who complete the Overwatch Reliquary will unlock Kiriko’s Fox Spirit companion, too.

Players can also visit the in-game shop run by NPC Tejal to purchase limited-time Overwatch cosmetics. The Season 14 gameplay trailer teased exclusive cosmetic sets inspired by Overwatch heroes including Roadhog, Moira, Brigitte, Reaper, Mercy, Kiriko, Genji, and Reinhardt.
When is the Overwatch collaboration coming to Diablo IV?
The Diablo IV x Overwatch crossover will launch on 30 June, 2026 at 10.00 AM PT (1.00 AM SGT), together with the major Season 14 update. Players will first gain access to the Overwatch Reliquary, while the limited-time cosmetics will arrive in Tejal’s shop two hours later at 12.00 PM PT (3.00 AM SGT).
Pre-downloading for the Patch 3.1 will also become available on 25 June at 10.00 AM PT (1.00 AM SGT) for those playing on Battle.net, Xbox, and PlayStation platforms.
What is included in Diablo IV's Season 14?
The Overwatch collaboration is only a small part of the major Season 14 update. The new season will task players to uncover the origins of a Death Cult in Zarbinzet which has created rifts called Pandemonium Ruptures. These Ruptures spawn monsters that players need to strategically handle, allowing them to collect materials, and craft new Mythic Unique items.
The event can also summon new encounters, Realmwalkers, which open portals to a new dungeon called the Deathtoll Chamber upon defeat. Completing this dungeon rewards players with Superior Lair Keys, which are required to obtain loot from the new seasonal boss, the Corrupted Reaper.
Season 14 will also bring numerous additional features and improvements, including changes to the Mythic Unique system, Horadric Cube crafting, and War Plans. Diablo IV will further introduce the new Tower & Leaderboards feature, a fresh set of seasonal rank rewards, seasonal Reliquary, and more.
