Magic: The Gathering’s new Commander Bundle includes a Final Fantasy 7 game code.
Hasbro is once again teaming up with Square Enix for another round of new Magic: The Gathering x Final Fantasy cards. This time, the collaboration is expanding with a Chocobo Bundle, a Commander Bundle, and four scene boxes.
New Final Fantasy x Magic: The Gathering cards announced
Good news for collectors of the Final Fantasy x Magic: The Gathering collaboration: you’re getting even more collectibles to collect in the near future. Magic: The Gathering publisher Wizards of the Coast announced a string of new drops at MagicCon Atlanta this weekend, including a new round of Final Fantasy-themed launches tied to the card game.

The Chocobo Bundle

Final Fantasy x Magic: The Gathering is introducing the Chocobo Bundle, featuring reprints with brand-new art themed after the RPG franchise’s beloved Chocobos. A Chocobo bundle comprises the following:
- 10 Magic: The Gathering—Final Fantasy Play Boosters
- 32 Final Fantasy landmark basic lands
- 16 Non-foil Final Fantasy landmark basic lands
- 16 Traditional foil Final Fantasy landmark basic lands
- 10 Chocobo track foil basic lands
- 2 of 20 Chocobo track foil borderless Chocobo Bundle cards
- 1 Traditional foil promo card
- Birds of Paradise as "Paradise Chocobo"
- 1 of 24 Non-foil cards from Magic: The Gathering—Final Fantasy Scene Boxes

Magic: The Gathering–Final Fantasy Scene Boxes

Final Fantasy, Final Fantasy VIII, and Final Fantasy XV are getting represented in all-new Magic: The Gathering Scene Boxes. Each box includes six cards that recreate a scene from each Final Fantasy game. The box includes the following:
- 3 Magic: The Gathering–Final Fantasy Play Boosters
- 6 Traditional foil borderless scene cards
- 6 Art cards
- 1 Display easel
Magic: The Gathering Final Fantasy VII Commander Deck–Game Edition

Lastly, Hasbro is giving Final Fantasy VII fans a little treat. The Magic: The Gathering Final Fantasy VII Commander Deck–Game Edition includes a brand-new promo card and an online download code for the original Final Fantasy VII game, which means that, technically, this bundle includes two games in one.
Each of this Commander decks includes the following:
- 1 Magic: The Gathering—Final Fantasy Limit Break Commander deck
- 1 Traditional foil Cloud, Midgar Mercenary promo card
- 1 Code to redeem Final Fantasy VII
