TSL protoss SangHo (a.k.a. Killer) barely managed to hop on the lifeboat by defeating Socke and avoiding the 0-2 score in Group B that would've sent him out of IEM Cologne.

SangHo won the first set by pulling off a cannon rush on Caverns but Socke would tie the score after a tense second set on Shakuras, featuring a 30-minute long PvP with maxed armies clashing down, a sporadically observed fiasco!

SangHo would seal the deal on Metalopolis by just playing the blink mirror match better. He set up a nice position on the central highground during a push towards Socke's natural and the offensive push of his opponent made things even easier. Socke's stalkers faced a long arc of enemy units and the battle was decided in seconds.

Currently, Socke and SangHo hold the top 2 spots in the group, but SeleCT and Diestar remain to face each other and if Select falls this could lead to a deadly tie in the group, which means the third rotation of the round robin would be a do or die for every single contender.
