Bleed Esports found their footing in the final tour of the 2023 Dota Pro Circuit.
The Singaporean based organisation Bleed Esports made its foray into the Dota 2 realm at the beginning of this year’s Dota Pro Circuit and barely survived in the Southeast Asia Division I league for the first two tours. After dodging relegation in the first tour with a sixth-place finish, Bleed recruited SEA veterans Daryl "iceiceice" Koh and Djardel "DJ" Mampusti, but the results didn’t improve. The Spring Tour ended with another 6th place finish, which triggered a change in the coaching seat.
Rasmus "MISERY" Filipsen replaced Lee "Forev" Sang-don in mid-May, and with him in charge, Bleed Esports is now the first SEA team to have qualified for the Bali Major, the third and final major of the 2023 DPC. While they still have a series to be played in the league season, Bleed are currently 5-1 with the only loss registered at the hands of Blacklist International.

Bali Major, which will run June 29 – July 9, represents the last chance for the teams to grab DPC points and secure a direct invite at The International 2023 by placing themselves in the top 12 in the DPC rankings. However, for Bleed even winning the Major might not be enough to secure a ticket to TI12. Given their first two tours placements, Bleed are currently in 19th place with just 200 DPC points. The maximum amount of points that they can add to their total from the SEA league is this is 500, if they win their final series and place first in the Summer Tour. The Bali Major has a total of 3,500 points to offer, which will be split between the top 8 placed teams. So Bleed will be in desperate need of a good finish in Bali to hope that it will be enough in order to avoid regional qualifiers for the most important tournament of the year.
