Russian organization Cyber Legacy has dropped their entire Dota 2 roster except for Zaur “Cooman” Shakhmurzaev.
The Russian/CIS scene has had a few shuffles going on in the last week, but none as significant as what Cyber Legacy has announced earlier today.
The team's official VK page reported to fans that they were not satisfied with recent results and it was time for a change.
Our Dota 2 roster goes intoactive
After the unsatisfactory results at ESL One Germany, we realized that there was a lot to change in the # Dota2 roster. Leaving the organization:
• Idan “Magical” Vardanyan
• Evgeny “Blizzy” Ri
• Danil “Bignum” Shekhovtsov
• Semyon “CeMaTheSlayeR” Krivulya
• Arseny “ArsZeeqq” Usov (coach)
We would like to thank the guys for the time spent together. We wish all the guys good luck and success in the future! Zaur "Cooman" Shakhmurzaev
remains in the current Cyber Legacy roster. We have a lot of work to do. We will definitely keep you informed of the developments. Wait for news!
The team was set to play in the EPIC League closed qualifiers after advancing through the open qualifiers, but has instead withdrawn while they rebuild.
Most recently they took a disappointing 12-14th place finish in ESL One Germany 2020 after being eliminated in the group stage -- a stark contrast to the top three finish at OMEGA League EU Divine Division before that.
