PSG.LGD and OG will be at ESL One Birmingham 2019

Two more teams have been added to the star-studded lineup of ESL One Birmingham 2019 as PSG.LGD and OG confirm their attendance.

This will be the first ESL One event of the new 2018-2019 season for PSG.LGD. The last one they played in was ESL One Katowice 2018 over one year ago, where they placed 9-12th. Despite their lack of attendance so far this season, the Chinese titans are still one of the best teams in the world, assuming 6th place position in the DPC rankings.

OG, on the other hand, has been struggling in the DPC rankings and events - taking up residence in the 29th slot. However, the team's last ESL One appearance was at ESL One Katowice 2019 just two months ago where they took an impressive 3rd place finish. With Anathan ‘Ana’ Pham back on hand the team has already secured a place in their first Major of the season and are expected to be back in top form.

PSG.LGD and OG have now been added to the ever-growing list of top teams to compete at ESL One Birmingham 2019 next month. ViCi GamingVirtus.pro, and NiP are already on the list. Three more teams will still be directly invited. Closed qualifiers for the four designated regions will begin in one week.

Twelve teams will be on hand in Birmingham to fight for a slice of the prize pool of $300.000 between May 28th - June 2nd, 2019. Eight teams will be directly invited and four teams will qualify from NA, SEA, China, and EU.
