7/12 (~60%) slots for EU/CIS makes Epicenter the most poorly slot distributed event of the whole year. Glad Valve is making all Majors minimum 16 slots next year. Hopefully we will stop seeing Majors where multiple regions only get one measly slot.
    • James "Yared" A ,
Indeed the Majors should be redefined to have at least two teams from each region. The prize is there but the feeling of competing at the world stage is lesser on this one. Business targets and political pressures won out in the end.

"Business targets and political pressures won out in the end." - i disagree. how about why other regions couldn't have more slot simply because they aren't competitive enough? you never end as being a bullshit, do you? no wonder foreign players (like EE) swarm at SEA is to have things easy. if you can get to ur destination using a less harder route, why not? if these foreign players advertise SEA well, then the chance of having more than a slot, will not be a rare occassion. you can thank them for the cries you've been doing. ur lame as ever

as an spectator, i dont want seeing scrub teams joining a major event just because a region's slots nids to be filled in. if inferior region gets like 2 slots, lets say SEA and SA, then we will be seeing 3-4 trash teams joinging the event. i would prefer give the slot to teams that can give good entertainment, not a pity for those who just getting emotional because they didnt get enough attention

Are you sure that SEA region is trash? Lol look at the top 10 team lul

hey, dumb! let me answer your stupid question with another question. do u only get gosu team ranking pts via international tourney alone?
          • teet "monotant" boon ,
Nah, the actual trash is CN, They got a lot of playerbase and a lot of support and couldn't win a single major event, even when they invite questionable amount of CN team. SO FCKing BAD

CPC points are similar to something like point/ranking system which is being used in other sports like tennis. if we accept this method as a good method which i personally do, we can't expect to see any kind of even distribution of slots on a worldwide level. like I said exactly like tennis. grand-slams have 128 participants and the first 108 players on the list are automatically invited. they can all be from the same region or same country or even the same city for that matter :))

Is team navi get the invitation just to please the local crowd!? I completely disagree. Just a peek at their performance this year, they not even close to get top 4 place at any tournament..
