Two teams in full roster reconstruction process faced off in the second leg of Zotac Cup Southeast Asian qualifiers. Warriors Gaming Unity and Mineski disputed their spot for the LAN finals this morning, and the Malaysian squad emerged victorious.
WG Unity lost two of their members at the beginning of the month, as Lai Jay 'Ah Jit' Son and Tue Soon 'ah fu' Chuan were dropped on the second of May. No official announcement regarding their replacements has been made yet by the organization. However, WG Unity used two players from their youth team to play the Zotac Cup and MDL qualifiers. While Mars Dota 2 League didn’t go well for them, the Malaysians dominated the Zotac Cup bracket to reach the grand finals and defeat Mineski in the last act.
