After Valve announced five teams invited to participate in the NA regional qualifiers for the Kiev Major, PPD’s squad WanteD announced its disbandment, and Team Red had their invite revoked due to a roster change.
Without stating any reasons for the decision, Peter 'ppd' Dager tweeted a day after the Kiev Major invites were out that WanteD disbanded.
WanteD began as a personal project of PPD, who created the team in the 2017 Spring Shuffle. Inactive as a pro player at the time, and CEO of Evil Geniuses since December last year when EG became an independent, player-owned organizations, PPD announced the formation of WanteD stating that the team will compete in a few tournaments and will try to qualify for the Kiev Major.

Jio 'Jeyo' Madayag
Rasmus 'Chessie' Blomdin
Kim 'QO' Seon-yeop
Bill 'Boris' Oliver
With WanteD disbanding and Team Red actually suffering a roster change after the shuffle period, the NA regional qualifiers remain with only three invited teams: NP, Onyx and Freedom. Five other squads, four from open qualifiers and one from champions qualifiers will join them in the regionals. Only one team from North America will advance into the Kiev Major main event.
The open qualifiers will commence tomorrow, March 6 and, up until the moment of this article’s publishing time, none of the ex-Wanted members announced their intentions of participating via open qualifiers with some other teams.
