OG bounce back with a 2-0 victory against Evil Geniuses at MarsTV Dota2 League.
Game one draft:
Game one lunched with a fight for the bottom rune with Earth Spirit giving firstblood to EG and Invoker almost dropping as well. EG proceeded to keep the pressure with kill after kill. OG didn’t give up though and around the mid game they evened the score a bit and took some towers. From then on the mid game turned into a back and forth between the two teams, but with OG coming on top on objectives as they managed to take Top Rax and T3 paying with a team wipe. Game broke down for EG in the late stage as OG’s momentum couldn’t be stopped. With a few failed fights, EG lost mid and what was left from top. One Rosh later and a fight at bottom lane, EG called the gg.
Game two draft:
Game two has a similar start, but this time Invoker gives up firstblood to EG. After a brief trade, OG comes on top for the early game, while EG waits for both Lycan and Enigma to come online. EG take Rosh and with this advantage clean up most of OG’s outer towers. Mid game stalled as both teams couldn’t push against each other, with trading only T3’s mid. EG kept taking Rosh every respawn, but it wasn’t enough to break OG and the high ground. After 50min, one aegis and two cheeses, EG lost their last push attempt letting OG take the fight to the Dire Base. Buybacks weren’t enough either and the game is called again by EG.
