The first BTS Europe series has ended with an amazing five game match, with Fantastic Five coming out victorious, ending Na’Vi’s outstanding performance through the series.
Fantastic Five were amongst one of the underdogs coming into the tournament. Having played only nine matches before the BTS Europe series as Fantastic Five, of which only four were wins, they were not the ones predicted to win the series by most.
However, after winning 2-0 against Stark in the first round of the bracket things started to look up for the team. Prodota seemed to put up a good fight, but again, Fantastic Five were the dominant team the game, winning with a final score of 2-1. The next team they were to face was No Logic Gaming. Yet again Fantastic Five eliminated their opponent with a 2-0 score.
Na’Vi’s road to the finals was interesting. With the use of Sh4dowehhh as the stand in for the team, they had 2 flawless victories for the first two games of the series. But Vega Squadron were the team looking to end Na’vi’s chances of proceeding in the series by taking a game against them. Nonetheless Na’Vi were to finish the game with a score of 2-1 and moved into the finals.
Both teams battled it out to the bitter end in the final of the series. An insane show by both challengers, provided viewers with an amazing series to watch. The match ended with all 5 games being played in the best of five and lots of turning points during those matches. Overall, the first BTS Europe series was a success, and F5 put up a ‘fantastic’ fight against all their opponents and definitely deserved the win.
