Sunsfan sends Maut to TI5 as a spectator in a random act of kindness

Considering that 23 casters and personalities have been invited to cover The International 5, things are getting grim for some of the casters who were not invited to work at Valve's annual Dota 2 event. One of the casters not invited is Travis 'Maut' Bueno but there was a silver lining in Maut's story and it came in the form of Shannon 'Sunsfan' Scotten and his girlfriend Nikki 'Sajadene' Ellis.

Sunsfan, also one of the casters not invited to the prestigious tournament, has decided to pay for Maut's flight ticket and accommodation at The International 5.

A teary eyed Maut said on his vlog that "It is the most incredible thing in the world. It is the most generous thing I have ever heard in my life. They really made me feel a lot better and I don't know what I would do without my friends in Dota."

As Maut wiped away a tear, he knows that he has to work a lot harder to make it to The International 5 and thinks that Valve did not make a mistake in inviting the casters and personalities they invited.

"It is a learning experience. I thought that I was in a good position. I casted in DotaPit with a great co-caster like Tralf and I thought it was going to be a great year for us and it is still going to be a great year."

We reached out to Sunsfan on his generous offer to Maut he insisted that this is something he did in private and would love for it to stay that way.
