Even if we are facing a much calmer phase on the competitive scene with everyone starting the preparations for The International 5, tomorrow, 24th of June a show-match Empire vs Virtus.Pro is scheduled.
The two CIS representatives will face each other in a Celebration event organized by Egamingbets starting at 17:00 CET. Although the show-match will be played in the same format as major tournaments finals, best of five, captains mode, it is most likely that the teams will not use their regular strategies.
Entertainment being the sole purpose of the show-match, we will sure see some crazy fun games played at the highest DotA 2 quality as the prize pool features a tempting sum of $7,500. The winning team takes home $5000, while the losers will only pocket $2,500 .
Empire and Virtus.Pro didn’t face each other in a while and that makes the show-match even more interesting as both teams are directly invited to The International 5 as the two most important teams for CIS DotA.
The entire event will be broadcasted by Beyond the Summit in English while CaspeRRR and Goblak will provide Russian-speaking coverage.
