The lower bracket final of Dream League 3 just concluded with Virtus.Pro advancing in the grand final while Ninjas in Pyjamas are finishing in third place.
After a very long day two where the team had to play their last game at 02:00 CET, Virtus.Pro had to come back today for the BO5 semifinals against Ninjas in Pyjamas in order to secure the last grand finals spot. Although it was a best of five series, VP came determined to end it fast and they managed to defeat the Swedes in front of their home crowd with a cold 3:0 score. Throughout the series, Ninjas in Pyjamas looked much stronger than their previous encounter with the Russians, leading in each and every game but conceding their advantage in late game team fights.
With Virtus.Pro advancing in the grand finals of Dream League 3 at DreamHack Summer in Jönköping, Sweden we are going to witness once again the clash of the most aggressive CIS teams. The matchup between Na’Vi and Virtus.Pro from yesterday’s upper bracket BO3 Series being the most dramatic one from the entire tournament hints to a grand final that should deliver amazing plays and dramatic turns of events.
That being said the grand final of Dream League Season 3 will start this evening at 18.30 CET and is a must watch.
