Fengyun Championship will begin today with eight teams to take center stage. Among the six Chinese teams today are First Departure from Singapore and MVP Phoenix from South Korea.
Day one of Fengyun Championship will showcase four matches from the RO16 with DK first taking on Tongfu.Wanzhou at 08:00 CET. While many expect the RO16 to mostly have 2-0 finishes, First Departure match against Vici Gaming is definitely one to look out for.

Looking at the schedule, two hours allocated for every best-of-three matches are almost definitely insufficient and we were told that they will not be waiting for the first match to end before running the second. David 'GoDz' Parker from BeyondTheSummit also added that BTS will employ stand-by casters in case a second stream is needed. The tournament will also be streamed on DotaTalk TV and Starladder #4.
The tournament, a six days affair until the 28th, will be played in a best-of-three, single elimination format. The top three finishers of the championship will walk away with cash prizes while losers will celebrate the arrival of 2014 empty-handed.
