One-sided matches all around for the start of the WPC-ACE League playoffs as Vici Gaming and LGD stomped LGD International and Tongfu respectively to qualify for the semi-finals of WPC-ACE League. In the semi-finals, both the winners will be facing the first and second placers of WPC-ACE groupstage DK and Invictus Gaming.
In the spirit of Christmas, the semi-finals of WPC-ACE League will continue on the 30th of December with DK first taking on Vici Gaming. The other semi-finals between Invictus Gaming and LGD.cn will take place at 03:00 CET of the 31st.
Both matches will be played in a best-of-five fashion and the winners will guarantee themselves at least a second place finish and $49,000 in cash. They will both be competing for the grand prize of $163,000, the biggest first prize finish in the history of Dota 2 outside of The International 3.
