5InQ defeated MVP.hot6 on the lower bracket finals of Nexon Sponsorship League's second season. The former will be facing another MVP team, Phoenix, on the grand finals next Sunday.
5inQ had a rather convincing 3-0 win over the now third-placer MVP.hot6. With their exit, MVP.hot6 receives the equal prize as the fourth place finisher EoT, which is $2.800~.
MVP.Phoenix remains the clear-cut favorite, as they still haven't dropped a single game in the whole tournament. 5InQ, however, has proved that they are a worthy challenger as they themselves have no loss outside the one they suffered by the hands of Phoenix. The finals match is scheduled on 28 December.
A lot is at stake in the finals with the Champion getting 80,000,000 Won (~$93,000), and the runner-up just getting a tenth of it in 8,000,000 Won (~$7,400).
