DK defeated Titan, Speed and Vici Gaming to place first in group A of G-League 2013. They have guaranteed themselves a spot in the playoffs and will have ample rest while the rest of the teams finish the group stage and pre-playoffs.

DK, lottery drawn to be in group A, arguably faced tougher teams in the group stage of G-League but they were able barely edge out Titan, Speed Gaming and Vici Gaming to guarantee themselves a spot in the playoffs. All the matches DK played ended in nail-biting 2-1 and the closest of all series would have been their opening game against Titan.

After taking down the Malaysians in game one, DK allowed Titan to draft Galvin 'Meracle' Kang's signature hero Naga Siren. That proved to be a fatal mistake 40 minutes into game two as Kang, playing a carry Naga, split pushed his way to close a 10,000 gold deficit and eventually the game. With the series tied at 1-1, DK first banned Naga Siren and Titan decided for a gank-oriented line-up. Things were looking really good for the Malaysians and they were on the verge of winning, until DK started buying Necronomicons and pushed Titan back to their base. The lack of survivability lost Titan the game and the series against DK. (VODs)

DK went on to face Speed Gaming on the fifth day of G-League and despite the server issues, they were able to hash out a 1-1 series before postponing the third game due to unbearable lag. Both teams squared off earlier today and despite Speed's incredible start, their overextension opened up opportunities for DK to stage an incredible comeback to win the series.

After a short break, DK played Vici Gaming, their last opponent in the group stage and the first two games of the series were disappointingly one-sided towards the side of DK. The second game was a lot closer that most would have expected but unfortunately, they are mostly through mistakes than actual good plays. Regardless, Vici Gaming was able to secure an extremely crucial Rosh fight and more or less controlled the tempo of the game to equalize the best-of-three at 1-1. DK did not fool around in game three and through great plays by Daryl 'iceiceice' Koh, DK pulled ahead early on and never looked back.

Of the three teams DK faced prior to qualifying, one of them will be eliminated and things are sure not looking good for Malaysian team Titan who has lost two matches so far.

The next few games in both group A will be extremely crucial in determining the seeds going into the pre-playoffs stage. On the other hand, the teams in group B bar the eliminated DT^Club may face 3-way tie if things do not go in favour of Invictus Gaming tomorrow.

The pre-playoffs of G-League will begin on the 17th of December. The playoffs will follow on the 19th.
