Mass matches from G-League, GPL and possibly Star Series postponed due to server issues

A total of five official games have been postponed at the time of publish due to server issues. If the servers do not restore by 17:00 CET today, Starladder will have to postpone all their games today as well.

The deciding game between Speed Gaming and DK has been postponed due to the server overloading, causing lag issues in-game and during the search for server.

Prior to the postpone, frustrated players and casters waited for the servers to come back for game two and it took about 30 minutes before the game was launched. After Speed equalized the match at 1-1, Si 'Sakray' Li, Gamefy's correspondent once again had difficulty hosting the third game before telling everyone the game will be postponed because they have to clear the studio where G-League was being held.

With that said, DK, Speed and Gamefy cleared out and will have to return to the studio tomorrow, after Tongfu vs DT^Club, to play their deciding game. It is not too much trouble for DK considering they have a match at 13:00 CET anyway but Speed will have to go to G-League's studio to just play one specific game.

Similarly, server issues have also affected several games from GIGABYTE Premier League. Set to finish their group stage today, a total of four games involving six teams will have to be postponed indefinitely. "Server is down! I'm sad that we cant see Mineski, Lowyat, Mith Trust, Rex regum Qeon in action today," said Firdaus 'MasterRamen' Hashim, head admin of DotaTalk.

Starladder also stated that if the servers do not get fixed come 17:00 CET, all the matches in Star Series today will be postponed indefinitely.

Truly, the Black Friday of Dota 2.
