The groupstage of G-League 2013 will begin today with Invictus Gaming first taking on LGD.cn in a best-of-three. Their upcoming encounter in G-League is also the fourth time both teams have met each other in the past month. LGD.cn lost their match against iG in WPC-ACE League only to bounce back and win their next two meetings in Sina Cup. The wins against iG contributed highly to their jump to rank two in our GosuRankings.
The groupstage of G-League will run from the 9th to 16th of December with the pre-playoffs to follow on the 17th. The top placer of the groupstage will receive automatic qualification to the playoffs while the second and third placers of the group will have to go through a double elimination bracket to determine the two teams going through. All the games will be played in best-of-three format.
