Na`Vi vs Fnatic

Game one

/>

To start off the first game of the playoffs, Fnatic picked some normal heroes but placed them on unorthodox lane to confuse Na`Vi. The lanes definitely did surprise Na`Vi a little as Night Stalker on the safe lane was able to take First Blood against Windranger with the help of the Enchantress and two Hellbear smashers covered in smoke. The Windranger bravely teleported back to the lane just to be killed a second time in less than 10 seconds. Meanwhile on the bottom lane, Bounty Hunter had fully abandoned his lane against Clinkz and went into the Radiant jungle to harass Doom. The rotation was rather successful as Bounty Hunter, using Jinada on dying creeps earned him the same experience as Doom does.

Kicking it up a notch, three of Fnatic smoked towards the bottom lane and while they did not manage to kill the Doom they were hunting for, they scouted Na`Vi's courier with Clinkz's Midas in it and killed that instead. With everything going Fnatic's way, they killed Roshan and then went on to take the fight to the Ukrainians. Fnatic also bought Midas on three of their heroes to accelerate their farm even further. Afer several bad fights, Na`Vi found themselves unable to take on Fnatic's 5-man push that early in the game. They did not have the proper heroes to split push as well.

From there onwards, Fnatic had full control of the game and waited for the second Roshan at 23 minutes before going for the final push. A Rubick Telekinesis into Night Stalker's Fear on Doom took down Na`Vi's most tanky hero with ease as Fnatic banged on the barracks. Na`Vi called the game shortly after.

Game two

Knowing Fnatic was going to put Enchantress in their own jungle, Na`Vi dispatched Enigma and Visage into the Radiant jungle to disrupt Enchantress' progression. In fact, Enigma's presence was so unnecessary that Visage alone was able to keep Enchantress from coming farming, which was very well reflected in the jungler's level, level two at 5 minutes. Both of them traded blows so many times that both heroes ended up dying simultaneously although Visage did manage to gain the First Blood gold and experience.

The first engagement of the game happened on the bottom lane when Na`Vi's Luna, Enigma and Visage dived the Lone Druid all the way back to Fnatic's tier-two tower. Although Na`Vi did get the kill, they sacrificed Luna and Visage from Fnatic's four-man rotation to the bottom lane. The game got rather stale after the engagement and both teams focused on farming while attempting many failed pick-offs. In the dormant period, Na`Vi started pulling away due to superior maneuverability and soon enough, they had enough to bring it to Fnatic who had been feeding their Enchantress every time she leaves the base.

By 21 minutes, five of Fnatic outer towers are down and Na`Vi went for the final push after killing Roshan for the second time. Fnatic stood no chance defending against Na`Vi.

Game three

It was Fnatic's turn to stick it to Na`Vi by placing their Chen in their enemy jungle. Using a Wildkin, Enchantress was able to constantly block the pulling camp and that made Elder Titan unable to jungle like he initially planned to. As a result, he bought a Smoke of Deceit and moved towards middle alongside Bane Elemental to help Alchemist pick up the First Blood. He nearly died as a result but participating in the kill almost got him level three. Considering the first time was so successful, Elder Titan teleported middle again and Na`Vi was once again able to pick off the Dragon Knight.

Fnatic got their act together after the two deaths and placed some supports behind the middle tower to protect their precious solo mid. After a failed gank, Na`Vi stopped attacking Fnatic and turned passive. Their passivity could really be felt, especially in the gold graph where Luna and Dragon Knight started gaining monstrous amount of farm. Na`Vi's Alchemist without Greevil's Greed could not keep up. At 21 minutes, Fnatic crossed the river and took down Roshan despite losing Bounty Hunter prior to the attempt.

With the Aegis on Luna, Na`Vi found themselves spending most of their time fleeing from Fnatic's impending ganks. Fnatic was also smart to place Observer Wards in front of Na`Vi's base. As soon as the Aegis expired, Na`Vi immediately charged out of their base in the cover of smoke and they were able to pick off the Luna and Visage who were attempting to gank Alchemist instead. Fnatic's attempt to push into Na`Vi's base was constantly repelled by Clinkz's split push, even after they secured the second Aegis. Fnatic sent Bounty Hunter back to push the top lane to eliminate the possibility a split push before marching down middle for a base push. As predicted, Na`Vi was no match for the 5-man potential of Fnatic. Fnatic took the middle barracks.

Knowing they couldn't defend, Clinkz and Mirana attempted a futile split push on the top lane as Fnatic destroyed all Na`Vi's barracks. The "gg" was an inevitable call from Na`Vi.
