Christmas is here and G-League is not the only present in Santa's bag. BeyondTheSummitTV present their 1v1 tournament in which 8 pro players are fighting for pride, glory and $500.
The first match will begin at 12:00 CET on 25 December and will see Evil Genuises player Fear play against Dreamhack Winter winner s4. On 26 December,
"Zeus-God" Merlini will battle it out against mTw captain syndereN. The day after that, currently teamless player SingSing faces off against Liquid's Korok and on 28 December mousesport's captain KuroKy will meet Empire's Funn1k. All matches of this double elimination tournament will start at 12:00 CET and will be best-of-ones, except for the grand final which will be a best-of-five.

Haha alright guys, to answer some of the most common questions:
1. Dendi was one of our first invites, but he elected not to participate despite our best efforts to convince him.
2. It's an online tournament, hence why we did not invite any Asian players. 1v1 mid is incredibly ping dependent. Ferrari vs Funn1k on LAN would be awesome. Ferrari vs Funn1k when both players have 250-400 ping is just silly~ That being said, if this event goes well, we will absolutely look to do an Asian version in the future :)
3. We will be broadcasting one match per day, about an hour before our G-League coverage officially kicks off!

- Bottle and Runes are allowed, using courier to refill bottle isn't allowed.
- Soulring not allowed.
- All games are Bo1 until the Grand Finals (bo5)
- First to 2 kills OR 2 towers wins
Drafting:
- Both players are given the same 3 possible matchups for their match.
- Both players privately veto one of the matchups
- The matchup played is randomized from the non-vetoed matchups
- The hero and side for each player is chosen randomly as well (ie: player don't know which hero they will get from the matchup)
