Along with a host of other tournaments going on in the Chinese competitive scene, the second season of Plu DotA League will begin tonight with its opening match played between iG.Y and iG.Z. The first season was met with immense success and after two months of adjustment and feedback, PDL ushers in its second season with eight of China's top teams.

Standing among the eight invited teams is last season's champions TyLoo. Currently at a low point due to the departure of its key players, the team undoubtedly face a tough ahead in the competition if they wish to defend their title.
The competition will start with a double round robin system where each team will play the rest of the seven teams twice for a total of 56 games played. Each win will record one point. At the end of the round robin, the teams are ranked according to their points and they enter the playoffs according to their ranking. Playoffs will host best of three matches in a single elimination format with the grand final match played offline.

Tonight's opening match will be between the two Invictus Gaming teams at 15:00 CET. Subsequent matches will be played every Monday, Wednesday and Friday starting at the same time. Overall champions will take home 20,000 RMB ($3,100) while first and second runner's up win 10,000 RMB ($1,600) and 5,000 RMB ($800) respectively.
