ESL announces the ZEN Esports Network CS:GO Invitational

ESL announced the ZEN Esports Network CS:GO Invitational, which will feature top Australian teams who will compete at The Palms in Melbourne for their illustrious share of a $20,000 prize pool, on January 14 - 15, 2017.

The first day of the event will put two top Australian teams, Parallax Gaming and Team Immunity, on display, as they compete for a spot in the ZEN Esports Network League for 2017, against two up-and-coming teams. The ZEN Esports Network CS:GO League, where Australia’s finest teams will go head to head with fierce competition from the Asia-Pacific region over the course of 10 weeks, is a product of the ZEN Esports Network's partnership with ESL Australia. The second and final day will feature local talents, Tainted Minds and Chiefs Esports Club, going up against two soon to be announced, "high-profile" guest contenders. The competition is expected to be tenacious, as teams will compete throughout the day in a best of 3, single elimination tournament format to unveil a champion.

All of the action can be experienced live, as tickets are available for both days of the event, with prices beginning at $55 for a standard seat. Each ticket will include all-day access to the event, and signing sessions will be held on each day to give spectators the opportunity to meet their favourite CS:GO players in Australia. Group booths are available for spectators attending the event with several friends or acquaintances; and will include personal wait services. There will also be merchandise available for purchase for those who wish to represent their favourite team.

For those who are not located in Australia, or are simply unable to attend; the action will be broadcast live on Twitch at twitch.tv/esl_csgo.
