Tidy, winner of GosuCup 14 could originally announced his cancellation of the playoffs. But he managed to show up anyway, and was placed as a sub for the empty spots where OctZerg and Ptak were missing.

Arew was forced to cancel his participation due to family issues.

SquaLL forfeited his match after having said he quit Brood War.
