The last championship for Europe begins this Saturday.

The players are ready and so are their decks. In just over a day, the European Summer Championship will kick off with $80,000, a Blizzcon seed and the last HCT points to be won.

The line-up lacks big star names such as Thijs “ThijsNL” Molendijk, Esteban “AKAWonder” Serrano and Simon “Crane” Raunholst who all participated in the Spring Championship, but that doesn’t mean it has no potential to generate stories. Two names to watch this weekend are Artem “DrHippi” Kravets of Virtus.pro and George “Georgec” Connoly, both of whom qualified for previous editions of the tournament and have won themselves a second shot at a Blizzcon seed. The two are placed in different parts of the bracket and are among the more known names in the championship, which would make a potential grand final between them particularly thrilling.

Other names to watch over the weekend are Bart?omiej “ikealyou” Zawadzki, Giorgos “Likeabawse” Papadimitrak and “Dizdemon”, all of whom have been competing in open Hearthstone tournaments and looking for their big break-out for the better part of game’s existence.

You can find all of the players’ decklists here. Also, feel free to vote who do you think will be Europe’s new champion come Sunday in the poll below.
