This is it, day four of the Seatstory Cup III and we are finally to see who will be our new Strifecro/Savjz of this cup.
Day three was quicker than expected with a lot of 3-0's on the road, the shortest one being Alesh against Dzianydruid which was roughly 12 minutes for a Bo5 (usualy 12 minutes is just half time for a Warrior versus Warrior) so admins also had to take a long break to wake up earlier Lifecoach for his match.
Intersting matches will come from the playoffs starting right away with the first one being Orange versus Lothar. Orange being pretty hyped since his first place against Amaz on IEM Katowice that got him to sign on team Archon and he definetely wants to prove that wasn't just luck!
The second match is arguably the highlight quarterfinal for today with Maverick versus Lifecoach, Maverick is the only representative of the French/Belgian scene and Lifecoach is surely one of the most in-form players on the scene. He took out Sjow twice on day three with a decisive 3-0.
The third match we will see two less known players on the rise, Ignite who didn't go on loser bracket a single time from day 1 beating off Amaz, Thijs, Gnimsh and Lothar and his opponent Ostkaka who has been given Ekop's bet on winning the tourney and even Xixo "predicted" his name to be on the playoffs. Let's see if they're right but it won't be easy for him!
Last but not least we will see Alesh against Xixo, a rematch from Group stage 1 where Xixo defeated Alesh 3-0. In the mean time Alesh's results on day 3 certainly boosted his self-confidence for this rematch beating Lifecoach in the winner's bracket 3-1 with a clearly favorable line-up.
Playoffs will be more than thrilling with a Bo7 format in quarter and semi-finals and a Bo9 on finals ! It gets better because for the playoffs we will see the new cards (Druid of the Flame, Blackwing Technician, Imp Gang Boss, Majordomo Executus, Axe Flinger and Lava Shock) from wing two in real live action.
