Dignitas acquire Gfinity semi-finalist Naiman

The Kazakhstani player who only recently departed from Vega Squadron joins the ranks of the British organization, making his first big step into professional Hearthstone.

Until Gfinity Spring I, the name of Ole "Naiman" Batyrbekov was associated more with the high tiers of the ladder and his patronage of the Hunter class, rather than competitive Hearthstone. His first trip to an international LAN event, however, awarded Naiman with a top four finish. The now ex-Vega player had to make his way through names like Sebastian "Xixo" Bentert, Sebastian "Forsen" Fors and Wei Lin "Tom60229" Chen before finally falling to eventual champion James "Firebat" Kostesich.

Just days after the London rumble, Naiman also announced his departure from Vega Squadron and started looking for a "dedicated HS team". Although sharing he's received multiple offers, Naiman didn't publicly reveal where he might land. It was this weekend that the Kazakhstani officially signed with Dignitas, becoming their sixth player.

Naiman is the third Hearthstone player who Dignitas have signed this year alone. Although the roster started with a full UK trio of  Lewis "Blackout" Spencer, Nick "Cookmysock" Li and James "Greensheep" Luo, Dignitas' latest acqusitions have been exclusively foreign. In January , acquired were Keaton "Chakki" Gil and Hak-jun "Kranich" Baek.
