Gfinity semi-finalist Naiman departs from Vega Squadron, looks to join a "dedicated HS team"

Ole "Naiman" Batyrbekov, the Kazakhstani players who recently made strong appearance at Gfinity Spring Masters, is no longer with his old team and will be moving to a more serious Hearthstone organization.

Known for his mastery of the Hunter class, Naiman first came to public's attention after he headlined the World Championship leaderboards, beating names like Aleksandr "Kolento" Malsh and Yevegniy "Neirea" Shumilin, the two players who were the top EU seeds for last year's qualifiers. Until recently, however, Naiman had zero major tournament experience and only made his televised debut at Gfinity Spring Masters in London.

Placed in the group of death with Neirea, Sebastian "Xixo" Bentert and Wei Lin "Tom60229" Chen, Naiman had to win several tough battles, ultimately graduating as second. The quarter final round met him with popular streamer Sebastian "Forsen" Fors, who he eliminated in a four-game series. Naiman's run was ultimately ended by the victorious crusade of eventual champion James "Firebat" Kostesich, awarding him a $500 check.

Today, Vega Squadron posted a statement that they will be parting ways with Naiman, due to his contract having expired. The Hunter specialist won't be teamless for a long time, however, as several teams have already approached him with offers, Naiman told GosuGamers, wishing to keep the names off the record.
