The second Heroes of Cards edition is down to the last four players as Thijs and Massan dominated their groups and will be facing Kolento and Ignite, respectively.

Right from the group stage, Heroes of Cards started with several notable upsets. Fresh off of a SeatStory Cup championship, Liquid's ace Savjz dropped two series to ThijsNL and Ignite and had to depart from the tournament. The Finn did manage to at least win one series at the very end, which left Kaldi as the worst player in the group with 0-3. The Dutch spear of MYM ThijsNL eventually took the top spot as he channeled his Warlock and Warrior into a 3-1 victory over his former team-mate Ignite.

Group B saw arguably the bigger upset. Featuring Kolento and Rdu - ranked #1 and #5 in the world respectively - few people probably expected that it would be  TSM's Massan going 3-0 against the established champions and ROOT's new signee Ostkaka. Massan has mostly his Shaman and Rogue to thank for his performance as he'll be sharpening his claws for the match against Ignite later tonight.
