Ninjas in Pyjamas welcome aboard ex HoN player, Aydin "iNsania" Sarkohi. iNsania will be assuming the support position 5 role in Troels “SyndereN” Nielsen’s stead.

SyndereN, a founding member of the current NiP iteration parted ways with the team several weeks ago. Both Riku "Buugi" Fält and iNsania were seen playing in his place during various official tournaments.

The Dane’s professional career spans over the course of many years, starting in 2009 in DotA. Making the switch to Dota 2, his team "Wild Honey Badgers" won the Dreamhack Winter 2011. He then qualified for The International 2012. He then spent the next year or so  playing with mTw and mousesports.

After retiring from professional player competitions in 2013,SyndereN started to focus on commentating full time. He casted a few games at TI2, while he was still a player, and he was also invited to TI4 and TI5. He is highly appreciated for the insight he provides during his casts and is considered to be one of the best casters and analysts in the Dota 2 scene.

He made his return to competitive play in December 2015 when he formed Steak Gaming.

iNsania on the other hand is just a babe in the Dota 2 community. He began his career in September 2015 . It didn't take long for him to start to play competitively and played briefly with Team Doge in 2016 and then part of Solidudes for last three months before joining Prodota Gaming in January.

“When Adrian (“Era”) asked me to try out for NiP, I was immediately excited as the players on this roster are well known and extremely talented. After playing a few games with them I felt that in this organization I could evolve over time. As a Swede, representing Ninjas in Pyjamas is a dream come true. I am really looking forward to playing more, optimizing our team to reach its full potential and competing at the largest and most prestigious events later this year”.

More known in the HoN community, he played competitive there for  five years. Over the first  weekend of April he took the championship title for HoN tournament playing under the Fnatic banner along with Micke "miCKe" Nguyen

NiP parted ways with their previous Dota 2 lineup in November 2015 after being with the organization since January 2015. The team had limited success in premier tournaments, despite maintaining a steady presence in the scene and seizing several commendable placements and championship title at  MLG Pro League, X-Games.

It wasn’t until January 25, 2017 that they made their re-entry into the scene picking up Escape Gaming and resigning Adrian “Era” Kryeziu who was a member of the previous NiP team in 2015.

Escape Gaming had maintained a solid presence in the European scene, seizing the wild card spot for TI6 and advancing into the main event, where they eventually placed 13th-16th.

The team made no roster changes into the Boston Major season but failed to qualify for the main event after being directly invited to the regional qualifiers. It was following then that Maurice "KheZu" Gutmann went to Team Secret.

They then went on to take first place in DreamLeague Season 6 League Play and second place in Royal Arena #1 and DreamLeague Season 6 with Kalle "Trixi" Saarinen as a stand in, but shortly after, during the Kiev Major team registration period that Yazied "YapzOr" Jaradat departed for the new team B)ears with Adrian "FATA-" Trinks.

On January 6th, Escape Gaming parted ways with the 3 remaining members of their Dota 2 squad.

At the time “syndereN”  reported the three teammates would stay together and bring on board two more players – announced in the near future. Many hoped to see both  “Trixi” and return of Kai “H4nn1” Hanbückers to their lineup - pleasing fans around the world when it came to fruition.

The squad had since struggled to find a place on the international scene map, missing out on qualifying for Kiev Major and demonstrating subpar results in minor tournaments and various qualifiers.
