StarLadder XII prize increased to $150,000, ChuaN held by airport police

While all the teams have been traveling to the event, StarLadder have announced an increased $150,000 prize pool for tomorrow's competition but Invictus Gaming's ChuaN is trapped in Frankfurt Airport due to visa issues.

UPDATE: Vitalii 'v1lat' Volochai has announced on Twitter that they are working on schedule changes for the team.

Invictus Gaming's participation in their opening game of the tournament is under question after the team was held up in Frankfurt Airport due to Schengen Visa issues. Frankurt's airport police have detained Wong 'ChuaN' Hock Chuan for the night after the team were traveling to Bucharest in Romania for the StarLadder Season 12 grand finals. The team have been forced to get on the next flight at midday tomorrow, but with their opening game starting three hours after their planned flight questions have been raised if they will actually arrive on time for their match against Alliance.

On a brighter note the organizers of the tournament have announced an increased prize pool of $150,000. The prize pool had started at $80,000 and had gradually increased by 59.92% by ticket and bundle sales to a growing amount of $127,938. There was no official reason for the change but the organizers hope that the decision will 'improve quality and hype in games'. The tournament begins tomorrow at 11:00 CET with ViCi Gaming taking on London Conspiracy.
