VALORANT Americas Players Association aims to help pro players in the Americas

Headed by former TSM coach tailored, it is designed to protect the pros in the Americas

A new association for Americas VALORANT professionals has been established after a long discussion with developer Riot Games. The VALORANT Americas Players Association will be headed by former TSM coach turned player agent Taylor “tailored” Broomall. While there is a connection with Riot Games, the association will be funded by the developer, and will not have any financial ties either.

The association’s main task is to protect the pros involved in VALORANT in the Americas while establishing a healthy relationship with Riot Games to improve the esport scene and secure the players' job security.

30 players make up the association, with external support provided by members of the LCS Players Association. The association was organised following the announcement of a partnership-style format next year for the VALORANT Champions Tour earlier this year.

When asked by Dot Esports, Phil Aram, executive director of the LCSPA said:

“Before taking this role, Taylor was already pouring his heart into organizing VALORANT players even before the partner program was announced. Now he can dedicate himself to this work full-time, and, with the support of the LCSPA, build transformative programs for player rights in the FPS space that are long overdue.”

Tailored is leading the association after finishing his tenure with Prodigy, the esports agency that represents the big names in VALORANT right now such as Sentinels star Tyson “TenZ” Ngo and Karmine Corp player Adil “ScreaM” Benrlitom. With Prodigy, Tailored represented several NA pros, and assisted with sponsorship matters as well as formulating healthy player contract changes.

As of right now, there is no news if similar associations will be established in other regions.
