VALORANT Shuffles: KRÜ Esports releases Mazino, delz1k and keznit ahead of 2023

The team will be building a new core for the 2023 season of VCT.

From a social media post, KRÜ Esports has released Roberto Francisco “Mazino” Rivas Bugueño, Joaquín Ignacio “delz1k” Espinoza Soto and Angelo “keznit” Mori from their contracts. The three players have been with the Latin American team since 2021 and were major contributors to the team’s success in the past two VCT seasons.

With the release of the three players, KRU will be building a new core of players as they head into the Americas VALORANT league for 2023. No players have been announced yet to be signed onto one of the most successful brands from Latin America.

KRÜ Esports are the only team that has attended every international LAN event since VALORANT’s conception. They were the top favourites for teams to be included in the Americas VCT League for 2023. While always qualifying for the major VALORANT events, they have yet to surpass the top 8 placement of any Masters or Champions played.

With the team accepted to be one of the partner teams for 2023, KRÜ will be looking to re-strategise their plans for next year to ensure they can go beyond what they have experienced thus far. Nicolas “Klaus” Ferrari and Juan Pablo “NagZ” Lopez are the only two remaining players from the original roster; At the same time, rebuilding can be hard, but the rules of the new league allow them to recruit from any country in the Americas region, including Canada all the way to Chile.
